Primary Role:
Responsible for delivery of product to customer work sites as directed and assists with general warehouse duties and shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities:
Load, deliver, and unload products for customers as dispatched
Ensure materials are packaged correctly for transport and properly secure each load prior to transport
Know and work within the safe working limits of the vehicle and equipment
Commitment to safe work practices including safe handling of products; ergonomically correct lifting techniques; workspace free of potential hazards; immediate reporting of and corrective action taken for any incidents; proper identification of all hazardous materials at the worksite; proper stacking and storage of products within the yard
Proper operation, certification and maintenance of equipment and vehicle
Meet customer expectations
Meet the operational objectives while complying with the overall corporate goals
Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness
Identify, investigate, and correct unsafe practices
Meet set deadlines
Minimum Required Education:
High School Diploma
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Available to work weekends if necessary.
Valid CDL class Driver’s license.
Yard forklift to load and unload trucks.
Tractor trailer with manual transmission
